The latest addition to Mamma Ciccia's family, the Café-Bistrot is an informal place where one can eat a quick meal, enjoy a pinsa (a type of pizza), share an aperitif with friends, or even just a quick coffee.

In addition to the interior, furnished in a simple but classic way in keeping with its location in the old town of Mandello del Lario, it also offers outdoor tables in the small piazza near the port of "Riva Granda".

Cooking Academy

Mamma Ciccia's cooking school, which has been in operation since 2006, has now found a new location in the spaces adjacent to the Café-Bistrot.

Furnished with the most modern equipment and with furniture, including a large marble topped table, reminiscent of an old kitchen, it offers courses suitable for everyone: from children to enthusiastic adults, to those who wish to learn more about the extraordinary Italian cuisine.

Mandello del Lario and Lake Como

Mandello del Lario is located on the Lecco branch, the eastern branch, of Lake Como. Mandello is an hour by train from Milan and a few kilometers from the most famous tourist resorts of Varenna and Bellagio. During the summer months a passenger ferry service operates from the town wharf.
Mandello del Lario enjoys a privileged position because it is located not only on the shores of the lake, but also at the foot of the Grigne, mountains known by hikers from all over the world. Mandello is also a destination for motorcyclists, being the home of the famous "Moto Guzzi" factory and its museum.
